Chalk Painting the Walls
As well as using Chalk Paint to transform your furniture you can also use it on the walls of your room.
Sherry & Reg thought that the walls in the No44 Homeworks shop could do with a splash of colour, so they decided to use Emperor Silk Chalk Paint!
Chalk Paint works very well on walls and in most cases one coat is all that is needed. Remember that if your tin of Chalk Paint is too thick you can add a little water and stir it in to loosen the mix. On the other hand if your paint is too thin to apply simply leave the lid off the tin for a while.
Whilst Reg concentrated on the walls Sherry painted the fireplace in Paloma - the two colours contrast well.
The result is quite a transformation - all completed in a matter of hours!
