Creating a French Grey Chalk Paint
Annie Sloan has created an extensive palette of colours for you to chose from, but if you need a different shade its easy to mix Chalk Paint colours.
Its very easy to mix Annie Sloan Chalk Paint colours to create just the right shade for your project.
Sherry wanted to create an authentic looking French Grey so started experimenting with with Country Grey as her base colour adding Aubusson until she found just the right colour.
Its easy to mix colours in a half used tin of paint or you could use a jar or plastic tub - make sure you have a lid so you can keep your new colour.
As you can see from the photo Sherry recorded her experiment in her Annie Sloan Work Book so that she can recreate the colour.
