Replacing a missing shelf on a hall stand
Sherry found this stylish hall stand but it was missing its shelf. A piece of plywood and some Chalk Paint and the stand is as good as new!

This stylish hall stand was missing its bottom shelf. Sherry had a piece of plywood cut to size and then painted it with one thick coat of Graphite Chalk Paint.
Once the paint was dry she applied Clear Soft Wax to give the shelf a soft sheen. Sherry uses a an Annie Sloan Wax Brush to easily and evenly apply the wax, leaves it to dry and then buffs it up with a soft lint free cloth.
The shelf just slotted into place and the hall stand looks as good as new!
